PORTRAITS OF THE HEBREW LETTERS,
IN PICTURES AND WORDS
©1996 Stan Tenen

Samples of Hebrew letters generated as views of the Meru Foundation FIRST HAND Hebrew Flame-Letter sculpture, both in a tetrahedral frame (Meru Foundation's original copyright design, which we call The Light in the Meeting Tent), and free-standing, with demonstrations of the postures used to view each letter. Essays by Stan Tenen on the meaning of selected letters are also included.

Images on these pages are ©1986, 1995, and 1996 Stan Tenen and James Fournier. Body postures courtesy of Karen Ann Carty.

Thumbnails of the available letter-portraits are below.
